Dr Iain Brownlee
Dr Iain Brownlee has been involved in research related to dietary fibre and health for over 15 years. His research portfolio includes work on gut health, seaweeds, whole grains and observation of dietary intake in young Singaporeans. His previous work has resulted in the production of two international patents and over 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has been based in Singapore for over 6 years with Newcastle University and is the Director of Operations for the BSc (Hons) Food & Human Nutrition programme. He also currently sits on the Editorial Board for two international journals (Food Hydrocolloids and Bioactive Carbohydrates and Dietary Fibre).
